Description
Grammy winners Akropolis Reed Quintet, with pianist Pascal Le Boeuf and drummer Christian Euman. Chamber music with a rhythm section.
One cello, one gayageum—the twelve-string Korean zither at the heart of the country's traditional gug-ak. CelloGayageum writes its own music for the pairing, built on Korean folk melodies and shaped by both players' classical training.
Founded in Berlin in 2016, the duo has spent a decade proving the combination that shouldn't work on paper works on stage.
